The firm is wholly owned and operated by Jay Liao. Previously, Jay was a financial advisor and portfolio manager at Morgan Stanley, where he managed client assets for individuals, corporate executives, high-net worth individuals, families, and trusts.

 

Prior to Morgan Stanley, Jay served on the investment team for a private, ultra high net worth family office that managed over $1 billion across multi-asset classes, including hedge funds, private equity, real estate, and venture capital.

 

Jay is also the creator and founder of Portfolio Monkey, an early financial technology website that was recognized as one of the Wall St Journal's "Best Online Tools for Personal Finance" and Money Magazine's 20 Best Websites.

 

Jay is a CFA Charterholder and holds an MBA from University of California, Berkeley.
